How to Play Blocky

The height meter on the side shows your progress toward the level's target height. Centering blocks directly over the stack's center of mass is the fundamental technique. Even slight offsets accumulate over many blocks, eventually causing the tower to lean and collapse. Pay attention to block shapes — L-shaped and T-shaped pieces require extra care in orientation. You can rotate blocks before dropping by tapping a rotate button or pressing the spacebar. Rotation is key to fitting irregular shapes onto uneven surfaces created by previous placements. Some levels introduce special blocks: heavy blocks that compress the stack downward, bouncy blocks that add springiness, and ice blocks that are slippery and shift after landing.
