How to Play ocho

Each player starts with seven cards. On your turn, play a card from your hand that matches either the color or the number of the card on top of the discard pile. Click or tap the matching card to play it. If you have no playable cards, click the draw pile to pick up a new card — if the drawn card is playable, you may play it immediately. Special action cards add strategic depth: Skip forces the next player to lose their turn, Reverse changes the direction of play, and Draw Two makes the next player pick up two cards and skip their turn. Wild cards can be played on any card and let you choose the active color. Wild Draw Four cards combine a color change with forcing the next player to draw four cards. When you are down to your last card, the game automatically announces it. The first player to play all their cards wins the round and scores points based on cards remaining in opponents' hands. Number cards are worth face value, action cards ten points each, and wild cards fifty points. Play multiple rounds to reach the target score. Watch what colors and numbers your opponents play and hold onto wild cards for critical moments when you need to shift the color to one you dominate.
