A silent browser game may need a tap before audio starts. Check the game mute button, browser tab and output device before changing settings.
Start with the audio path
Browsers can block sound that starts without a user gesture. Click Play inside the game itself; opening the page is not always enough. Use a short round in Piano Music Tiles to check audio, but do not assume every title handles sound the same way. Keep volume low while testing so an unexpected connection change is not startling.
Try the steps
- Tap the game, then check its music and effects switches separately.
- Check whether the browser tab or website is muted, then check the system volume mixer.
- Disconnect unused Bluetooth headphones or select the intended speaker. Test another known audio source.
Should I clear browser data to restore sound?
Start with the checks above. Clearing site data can erase local progress and may not fix audio permissions. If only one game stays silent, record its URL, browser and device when reporting the problem; a working video elsewhere does not prove that game's audio has loaded.
